	Thomas Riedelsheimer (1963) studierte an der Filmhochschule in München und arbeitet als freier Filmemacher, Kameramann und Editor. Obwohl er mit allen Film- und Videoformaten vertraut ist, arbeitet er besonders gerne auf Super 16. Seine Filme behandeln ein weites Spektrum an Themen und er konzentriert sich besonders auf abendfüllende Filme, die auch für das Kino geeignet sind. Thomas Riedelsheimer hat viele nationale und internationale Auszeichnungen für seine Regie- und Kameraarbeit erhalten und gibt Seminare an Filmschulen. Sein bekanntester Fim Rivers and Tides* über den Künstler Andy Goldsworthy spielte allein in den USA 2,5 Mio $ ein, wurde weltweit gezeigt und ist ein DVD Topseller. Thomas Riedelsheimer lebt in München, ist verheiratet und hat zwei Kinder. Er ist Mitglied der Deutschen und der Europäischen Filmakademie.			Thomas Riedelsheimer (1963) studied at the Academy for Film and Television in Munich and works as a free-lance author, director, cameraman and producer. He is well experienced in all film formats but particulary loves the S-16mm negative for his work. His films deal with a variety of topics and he focusses more and more on feature length documentaries for cinema release. He won some major national and international film and television awards for directing as well as for editing and camerawork. He also gives lectures at various filmschools. His most famous work is Rivers and Tides* about the artist Andy Goldsworthy. This film had a US box office of 2.5 Mio, was shown in cinemas all over the world and sells very well on DVD. Thomas Riedelsheimer lives in Munich, is married and has two children. He is member of the German and European Film Academy.
